Time to Refinance
Mortgage interest rates continue to be at all-time lows. If you have not refinanced yet now is the time to do it. Mortgage rates are not going to stay this low forever. They really have no where to go but up. That’s not to say that rates are going up any time soon, as their is still a lot of uncertainty in the economy.
A common mistake that borrowers make is waiting to see if mortgage rates will go down further. With mortgage rates so low it is not worth waiting to see if you can get another eighth of a point better. The best way to know if it worth your while to pay closing costs for a better interest rate is to go over your mortgage scenario with a loan officer.
